The Uganda premier league (UPL) will see some action tomorrow as a winless Rwenshama continue to hunt for their first win of the season when they host league giants Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). Rwenshama threw away their chance to pick their third point of the season when they lost 3-2 to the table leaders Vipers.
They now welcome five time record champions URA who will be eager to tax them at the Ssaza stadium in Mityana. Alex Isabirye’s side of URA have a enjoyed a good run since earning their first win of the season in the 1-0 victory over Sports Club Victoria University back in October.
The good run has left the tax collectors well placed in 6th position on the table with 17points. They visit league debutants Rwenshama who are yet to win a single game since joining the UPL from the Big league.
Rwenshama’s head coach Shafik Bisaso is eager to bag at least a point against over the ‘Tax collectors’. “We plan to pick that first season victory and embark on the recovery path before the situation gets worse,” said Shafik.
Rwenshama are still bottom of the 16-team log with just two points from 10 games. This implies that the two side have a 15 point gap separating them.
