Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) new star, Julius Mutyaba successfully underwent surgery after suffering a terrible fracture on his nose bone recently.
The 21-year old recruit from Lweza Football Club sustained the injury during the Tax Collector’s preseason friendly against Buddu FC on Wednesday last week at Masaka Recreational grounds in Masaka.
He was rushed to Pan Health Clinic in Kanyanya for medical attention where he was later subjected to an operation on Friday evening at around 7:00pm by Dr. Nkalubo Nick, the ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist at the hospital.
“The operation was successful and he has reported steady progress and we hope he will be discharged today evening,” Lubega Joseph, the URA FC team doctor is quoted on the club’s official Facebook page.
