Both ties ended in one-all draws with new recruit Bokota Labama scoring against Azam while Elkanah Nkuggwa netted the one against Simba as the Kefa Kisala-coached side concluded their preseason friendlies in preparation for the new season.

The 2014 Uganda Cup winners who finished off in 5th place last season on the 16-team log open up their new campaign against league debutants and 2016 FUFA Big League champions Kirinya Jinja SS on Friday 19th August. URA will make a short trip to Bugembe Stadium in Jinja to face off with the new boys.
