With less than a month to the official kick of the new season, Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club has elected a new executive board that will govern the team for the next four years.
During an elective forum held at Ridar Hotel in Seeta on Saturday, 23rd July, Ali Ssekatawa was re-elected as the Tax Collectors’ new chairman. According to the vote cast, URA Assistant Commissioner for Litigation beat his only opponent James Kizza who serves as the authority’s Assistant Commissioner for Information Technology by 239 to 44 votes out of the total 299.
Ssekatawa will lead the club for the next four years (up to 2020). Among the others elected was Kibumba Moses who will deputize Ssekatawa while Kaduyu Moses was voted as the General Secretary to the board.
Here is the fully elected board that will lead the club for the next four years;
1. Ali Ssekatawa – Chairman
2. Kibumba Moses – Vice Chairman
3. Kaduyu. Moses – General Secretary
4. Kizza James – Marketing
5. Kyondo Geoffrey – Technical
6. Drani Francis – Communication
7. John Amigo Pulle – Fans
8. Omara Daniel – Administration
