Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) condemned Victoria University to a 2-0 defeat in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) yesterday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
Goals from the on-form Feni Ali who netted in the 26th minute and Ronald Kigongo who scored just nine minutes into the second half were enough to sink Morley Byekwaso’s side.
Uganda Cranes striker Robert Ssentongo who remains ruled out for their return league against Orlando Pirates following a booking during the return leg against Madagascar’s ASSM Elgeco Plus in the preliminary stages started on the bench. The goal poacher later came on in the 68th minute for Mugerwa Yasser during a double change that also saw Elkanah Nkugwa come on for Ochan Patrick, and later Kulaba Jimmy for Massa in the 80th minute.
