URA - Sentongo

By James Robert Kayindi

The industrious Robert Ssentogo walked into Namboole stadium with his scoring boots on Tuesday evening as Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) collected Kiira Young in a 2-1 victory.

Ssentongo scored a brace for the Tax Collectors as he extended his personal tally to 13 goals this season. Kiira fell 2-1 defeat despite coming into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory against Express fc who on the day thrashed KCCA 3-0.

The result leaves Kiira Young in the relegation zone with 24 points in 14th place while URA advanced to 42 points in 4th place.

Elsewhere, at the Bugembe stadium – Jinja, a brace from Norman Ojik and two goals from Fred Segujja and Joseph Ssemwogerere were enough as the ‘Painters’ of Sadolin Paints thumped Soana fc in a five goal thriller. The 4-1 victory lifted the home side to 9th place on the table with 32 points.

At the heart of Kampala in Nakivubo stadium, Joshua Masene’s only strike of the game was enough as visitors Bul fc condemned Rwenshama to a 1-0 defeat.
