The University League that has been in recess since May, 2014 is set to resume today at the quarter final stage of the tourney. The university tourney returns with a single fixture on each day as Kampala International University (KIU) take on Uganda Christian University (UCU) at Nsambya grounds in the first game of the quarter finals.
Tomorrow (Thursday), Kampala University will take on Kyambogo at the Nakivubo Stadium (Villa Park) before Mubs pay a visit to the north based university, Gulu in the third game of the quarter finals on Friday.
Reigning champions Makerere University will close the first leg section of the quarter finals on Saturday when they host Nkumba University at the Makerere main grounds. The return legs of the quarter finals will then resume on the 1st of October 2014.
