The first round of the Nile Special University Football League climaxed on Sunday as 2013 champions Makerere University won 4 – 0 against Mbarara University of Science & Technology (MUST).
Following the end of the first round, the quarter final draws were held.
The draws pitted Kyambogo University against their arch rivals Makerere University while defending champions and two time winners of Makerere University Business School (MUBS) didn’t manage to advance from the group stages.
The Nile Special UFL will resume in September 2016 when the new semester begins.
