The United Nations Children’s Fund will be launching a new campaign called “Imagine Campaign” that aims at raising awareness of child rights and help raise millions of money to help the children. The Imagine Campaign will be officially launched at the event where local artistes will record their version of the Imagine song originally done by John Lennon as they call on the rest of the world to join the campaign.

UNICEF has teamed with Navio, Lilian Mbabazi, Irene Ntale, Cindy, Peter Miles and Jackie Chandiru to record the song after they received permission from John Lennon to use it to lead the global convention on the Rights of the Child commemoration events.

The event will take place today Thursday, November 27th at UNICEF Uganda Office Building in a function that will be headed by UNICEF Representative Uganda Mrs. Aida Girma.
