Express FC extended their unbeaten run to eight games this season after thrashing BUL FC 4-0 at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium in Wankulukuku as the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) returned to action after a long break of three weeks.

The industrious and on-form Ceaser Okhuti once again netted one as he looked less fatigued despite having less than 24 hours of rest after his return from international duty in which he scored against Sudan during the Cranes’ 2-0 win in Khartoum on Sunday.

Emmanuel Kalyowa scored a brace while Ibrahim Kayiwa was the other player on the score sheet as the Red Eagles confirmed their status as title contenders for this season’s league crown.

Express are now top of the table with 16 points from eight matches, above KCCA and Vipers in second and third places respectively who have two games in hand.
