Lash Media and Sipapa Global Entertainment, the organizers of the Umar Semata fight have announced the postponement of his bout that was due September 14th.
“We could not go ahead with fights because of the unavailability of supervisors, who are scheduled for another event around the same period,” Lash’s Alice Namatovu revealed at a press conference yesterday.
The fight is now scheduled for Independence Day, 9th October at Hotel Africana where Semata will take on Australian kick boxer, Piotr Lagodzki in the Super Middleweight title bout.
The abrupt changes leave many fights that had been scheduled for the same day in doubt. On that particular day (September 14th), John Tumukunde was expected to battle it out with Ximba Nkosinaihi from South Africa in a Continental featherweight title.
