The year 2013 is ending on a very happy note after Uganda’s representative at the first Africa Next Top Model, Cycle 1 made it to the top 3 contestants. Aamito Stacie won this week’s challenge and also won the Best Photo.
Fashion observers have it that Aamito actually stands a greater chance of becoming Africa’s first Next Top Model compared to her other competitors.
Cycle 1 is the first installment of a reality television show in which a number of women compete for the title of Africa’s Next Top Model along with the chance to begin their career in the modelling industry.
The show features aspiring models from the entire African continent. The winner of the competition will receive a 1-year modelling contract with New York based modelling agency DNA Model Management, a product endorsement deal with P&G, a 1-year contact as an ambassador for South African Tourism, SNAPP, Etisalat, Verve, and a cash prize of 50,000 USD.
