Ugandan singer Sarah Musayimuto nominated in Portuguese Awards

Ugandan singer based in Denmark,  Sarah Musayimuto has been nominated in the International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMA). Musayimuto is nominated for her single, “Bad Gyal” in the World Music Performance category.

With palpable joy, she broke the news on social media, posting: “Representing my Country ‪Uganda‬ in Portugal. My Song Bad Gyal is Nominated in the 2016 International Portuguese Music Awards. for the World Music Performance.  Congratulations to me. Gwensinza munene.”

Meanwhile, this is the second time Sarah Musayimuto is being nominated in the IPMA’s. She was nominated in 2015 for her song “Obulamu Tebulida (We Only Live Once)”, but lost.

 The International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMA) seek to honor exceptional artists for their abilities to inspire audiences all over the world. Nominees are judged by a panel of music industry experts.
