Local artiste Immaculate Nabiryo has died. She reportedly succumbed to cancer at Mulago Hospital on Wednesday evening.
She begun singing in the early 90s in Emitos band with Kato Lubwama but became famous in early 2000 after releasing her hit song called ‘Mazima nondeka’ featuring Kato Lubwama, after which she was recruited in Diamond Production.
At the time of her death, she was an actor with Diamond Ensembles at Royal Theater.
Nabiryo died at the age of 55 years.
