Ugandan FIFA referees will today be in the spotlight as they officiate over a World Cup qualifier tie between Tunisia and Mauritania.

In a game that is going to be played in Tunis, at 8:00pm (East African Time), Dennis Batte will be the center referee while Mark Sonko and Balikoowa Musa will be the first and second assistants respectively.

Ssali Mashood will be the fourth official when Tunisia and Mauritania both fight for a place in the next round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday evening.

The Eagles of Carthage hold a 2-1 advantage of Mauritania from the first leg.

In related news, Mark Sonko is also the only Ugandan referee that will officiate at the 2015 Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal later this month.
