On Wednesday last week, MAC Cosmetics posted an image to its Instagram page of Ugandan model, Aamito Stacie’s lips, and the page was swamped with racist comments within minutes.
The picture was posted with the caption, “Royal romance at @ohnetitelny #AW16. #MACBackstage #NYFW.”
Soon, the Instagram page was flooded with racist comments about the picture, with some even saying that they were going to unfollow the account because of the picture.
