While everybody else concentrated on watching the breathtaking once in a lifetime view of the total eclipse, our snoops spotted Kampala socialites wading through the crowd at Owiny Primary school looking for American superstars present at the event.
After struggling to get photograph oppourtunities with real celebrities, their status updates and tweets went like,”Chilling with Tom Cruise waiting for eclipse.”
Our sources revealed our celebrities expected a VIP treatment and red carpet reception only to be warned by the tight presidential guard security at the event.
“We saw them sipping soda as the locals failed to identify them”, a source intimated.
With presence of the president and white men, the residents described the event as “thangu”, an Alur word for miracle.
Some were seen heading to Arua for solar eclipse after party!
