Another online clash between Ugandan and Nigerian artists could be witnessed anytime from now.

  • Eddie Wizzy

This is after renowned Ugandan dancer and choreographer Matte Edgar a.k.a Eddie Wizzy’s controversial word of unfollowing all Nigerian artists on his Instagram, a statement that has received a massive backup from fellow Ugandan celebrities.

Taking it on his Instagram on Tuesday, Eddie Wizzy disclosed that he had unfollowed all Nigerian artists because of the need to believe and support his fellow Ugandans.

Eddie Wizzy also took a fancy to seeing fellow Ugandan talents perform at the O2 Arena, London come next year.

“Just unfollowed all Nigerian artists on my Insta. Need to believe in my own. Wanna see my generation in O2 Arena Next Year. Lets support each other Naffe Tusobola,” Eddie Wizzy wrote.

He also vowed to elevate a strong inspiration in Uganda by dancing to only local content like Nigerians have done.

“FROM TODAY!!! Am only dancing to Ugandan music for promos 🙏🏽🙏🏽 We need to support and love each other regardless. Nigerians have done enough inspiration ✊🏾. Letssssssss go Ugandaaaaaaaaaa 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ God bless me,” added Eddie Wizzy.

His statement has since sparked a huge debate and a diversity of thoughts among Ugandan celebrities and the media.

Incase Eddie Wizzy’s statements negatively scoop attention from the Nigerian fraternity, it will be the second time the West African country is out rightly battling Uganda online.

The most recent scenario is called in 2020 when Nigerian singers Omah Lay and Tems were arrested in Uganda and charged with cases of bleaching Covid19 control guidelines.
