Musician Bobi Wine has come out to talk about the disunity among Ugandan artistes that has seen them lose out on important issues in the music industry.
During an interview on one of the local TV stations this morning, Bobi indicated that Ugandan artistes are not united at all, otherwise they would have all come out against the sale of National Theatre.
“We have some artistes that claim to be friends with the President and others campaigned for him but when it came to the issue of sale of National Theatre, no one came out to petition His Excellency about this issue,” said Bobi.
He added that art, music and drama are one of the biggest exports pointing out the Queen of Katwe movie that is currently selling Uganda internationally and therefore the sale of National Theatre would be a big hindrance to growth of the entertainment industry.
