It’s so amazing to see the level at which Ugandan Music is cutting across the world to an extent that public figures are starting to recognize it. It all started with Edddy Kenzo’s Sitya Loss song that received endorsement from several prominent figures around the world including one of the greatest world singers P. Diddy.
Now, Robert Marshal, a Ugandan dancehall musician based in Amsterdam, seems to be following in Kenzo’s footsteps. This comes after his music caught the attention of Chelsea star Didier Drogba who even went ahead to share it on his Google plus account with his friends.
“Am listening to a wonderful tune from a Ugandan musician and I think it’s wonderful though I don’t understand what he’s meaning. Can someone translate for me,” Drogba posted.
Drogba has shared a couple of songs from this guy among which is Pembe, Girl yuh shine ft. Sizzaman and the most recent one Daidigi.
Robert says he has never been in touch with the Chelsea star apart from knowing that he’s always shared his music and the two have never met. This shows how far good music and art can go and take the bearer places.
