With just a month left to the clash between Uganda’s all-star side and the Barcelona legends, a new date for the match has been announced and charges set.

Initially the game had been scheduled for 5th December 2015 but has been shifted to 12th of the same month with the Barcelona legends expected to arrive in the country on 8th and take a tour of the Pearl of Africa before match day.

With the game lined-up to raise funds for the establishment of a state of the art football academy under the Rayco Garcia foundation, charges have be set at 30,000/-, 150,000/- and 350,000/- for ordinary, VIP and VVIP respectively and match tickets will be sold at KFC outlets and Shell fuel stations.

The Barcelona legendary side is expected to line up big names like former Captain Carlos Puyol, Eric Abidal, Patrick Kluvert, Edgar Davids, Gaizka Mendieta, Christian Karembeu and Luis Garcia.

It’s also said that current Barcelona skipper Andreas Iniesta would love to be part of the match but it’s yet to be confirmed whether he will make it to Kampala during that time.

With former Cranes tactician Mike Mutebi in charge of Uganda’s All Star side, one of the country’s greatest ex-professionals, David Obua was yesterday selected to be the Captain, lining up with the likes of Tonny Mawejje and Simeon Massa among others.
