The Uganda Travel Month, a domestic tourism drive, is back! Organised by The Pearl Guide, a local tourism marketing outfit, it returns for its 3rd edition with the first trip happening this weekend. This was announced during a media launch held at Prunes Restaurant on Wednesday evening.
Speaking during the launch, The Pearl Guide’s Allan revealed that during this year’s expedition travelers will get a chance to experience Uganda’s luxury side. “While we are promoting domestic tourism, we also want to give Ugandans fun-filled and memorable trips.” He also noted.
The Uganda Travel Month offers Ugandans an opportunity to tour and experience different local tourist attractions across the country through a 4 week circuit at discounted fees.
This year’s edition will start at Lake Mburo national park in Mbarara on September 29, and then head to Murchison Falls at Chobe Safari Lodge on October 6, and later Queen Elizabeth National Park on October 12, and end in Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale on October 19. The touring groups will indulge in different fun activities like boat cruises, camping, and game drives among others.
Uganda Travel Month is supported by Nile Special, Total Excellium, and Radiocity.
