At the draws for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifiers that were held yesterday, Uganda was seeded in Group D along with the 2013 runners up Burkina Faso.
The draws’ ceremony took place yesterday in Cairo, Egypt at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) President Eng. Moses Magogo attended the ceremony as Uganda was being grouped with Burkina Faso, Botswana and Comoros with whom they will be competing for a slot at the 2017 AFCON finals that will be played in Gabon.
