Uganda Sand Cranes fly off to Ghana

The Uganda National Beach Soccer team, the Sand Cranes have this morning set off for Ghana aboard Rwanda Air ahead of their return leg against the Sharks in the Africa Beach soccer championship qualifier.

The Sharks and the Sand Cranes are fighting for a slot at this year’s CAF Africa Beach soccer championship that is due next month in Seychelles.
Head coach Harunah Kebba is hopeful that his side can bounce back from that 9-6 defeat that left them nursing wounds after the first leg encounter at the Entebbe Sports Beach.

The match will be played on Sunday at 4pm (Ghana Time) and 7pm (Uganda Time).
