Uganda receives second A330neo Airbus

It’s great joy for Uganda as its second Airbus A330neo arrives at Entebbe International Airport.

  • The new Uganda A330neo Airbus upon its arrival at Entebbe International Airport

The new Airbus was wheeled to a grand water salute by Capt. Micheal Etiang, the Chief Pilot of Uganda Airlines.

It was received by the Prime Minister, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.

The new Uganda Airlines A330neo Airbus has a sitting capacity 280 passengers and its modeled with the latest state of art technology.

As President YK Museveni promised in his manifesto for 2021-2026 that Uganda will procure two airbuses (A330neo); The 1st by the end of 2020 and another one at the beginning of 2021 which he has fulfilled.

This newest addition delivery today, makes a great fleet for start of Uganda’s international long-haul flights.

Its aligned for a greater connectivity to Europe, Asia & the Middle East, from its hub at Entebbe.
