Uganda Kobs eye Express win after seeing off SC Villa

The Uganda U-23 national team have set their sights on Express fc after seeing off Uganda Cup winners SC Villa on Saturday by 2-0 in a buildup match played at Nakivubo Stadium.

The industrious boys from Vipers SC in names of Kezironi Kizito and Farouk Miya (penalty) where on the score sheet as Villa’s Antonio Flores suffered his second pre-season defeat since joining the club earlier on this month with his first coming against Maroons fc in the Eid cup (4-3 was the final score after a penalty shootout).

The game was the first of the two friendly matches planned for the Kobs as they prepare to overturn a 4-0 deficit against Egypt in the CAF U-23 Africa Championship Qualifiers.

The Kobs now await Express fc in their next buildup match tomorrow at the Wankulukuku stadium.
