Uganda’s Under-23 national team, the Kobs departed for Egypt on Wednesday night ahead of the 3rd round first leg of the U-23 Africa Championship qualifiers.
Kobs’ head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic named an 18-man squad, with 16 players from the team that has been training in Kampala while the other two will join the team in the course of the journey.
The team will make a stopover in Ethiopian Capital, Addis Ababa where they will be joined by senior defender Richard Kassagga from South Africa while goalie Salim Jamal will link up with the rest of the team in Alexandria, Egypt from Algeria.
