The Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) has officially announced the return of the Uganda International Trade Fair (UGITF), which will run from October 2nd to 12th, 2025 at UMA Hall, Lugogo.

The annual Trade Fair, which has become one of the country’s biggest showcases for industrial and business innovations, is now in its 31st edition.
UMA first launched the initiative in 1988 with the vision of creating a culture of industrialization that not only supplies Ugandan households with essential consumer goods but also boosts the national GDP and creates employment opportunities.
Over the years, the UGITF has grown into a key platform for local and international exhibitors, investors, and innovators to network, trade, and exchange ideas.
This year’s edition promises to be even more impactful, featuring new innovations in the Women, Agriculture, and Education pavilions, designed to address some of Uganda’s most pressing social and economic challenges.
According to UMA, the 2025 Trade Fair will also provide opportunities for small and medium enterprises to showcase their products, expand their markets, and connect with global investors.
The fair is expected to attract thousands of visitors, including policymakers, entrepreneurs, and business enthusiasts from across the region.
