After a video of a kid being tortured by a housemaid went viral, a few Ugandan Parents formed an organization named; “Uganda Parents Association” (UPA). Strict rules were adopted by UPA and every member was supposed to ensure that their maid or housegirl followed these rules to the dot.
Now the Uganda Housemaids/Housegirls Association (UHA) has come out to protest these rules. They say that the rules are inhumane and violate the rights of housegirls. Here are the rules.
