After leaving in the Pearl of Africa for a while now as he waits for Barcelona legends to visit the country for a charity match against a Uganda all-star side, Rayco Garcia has praised Uganda.

“Uganda has a big tourism potential, nice food, good people and weather but can sell themselves better,” Rayco Garcia recently revealed.

“I convinced these players to come not only for the match but also to see how beautiful Uganda is. It will be a good experience for them and hopefully they can invest here like they have done in some other African countries,” he further noted.

December 8th is when Barcelona Legends that include Carles Puyol, Patrick Kluivert, Luis Garcia, Ludovic Guily, Edager Davids, Albert Lugue among others are expected to step into the country ahead of the highly anticipated game.

The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has arranged to take the legends and foreign media entities on a promotional tour to visit places like the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Murchison Falls National Park, the Source of the Nile among other places.

It’s said that over 700,000 Euros (2.5billion) has been raised and will be spent on hosting the legends between 8th and 12th, the match day at Namboole Stadium.
