The inaugural ceremony of the Uganda Entertainment Awards(UEA) is slated to take place early next week on the Friday of 4th September. The awards like the name suggests will seek to reward Ugandan entertainers who have emerged top in each of their specific categories. The awards have different categories including musicians, comedians, and actors. The awards are aimed at celebrating and transforming Uganda’s entertainment industry.
The Uganda Entertainment Awards will take place at Speke Resort Munyonyo where the chief guest will be his highness Omukama Oyo, the King of Tooro, who will attend with the Queen mother Best Kemigisa. The event will start at 6pm on the D-day.
The event will also see performers like Tonix, and Maro among others entertain guests while the official Deejays will be Slick Stuart and DJ Roja.
