Uganda Development Bank Limited (UDBL) in partnership with Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) conducted a business forum in northern Uganda on Friday.

Held at Watoto Church hall in Gulu city, the forum was aimed at addressing funding and other challenges that either impede private sector access to finance or constrain effective project formulation, implementation and management.

The workshop was also geared towards promoting financial inclusion and ease access to credit for the investors including small holder farmers and SMEs in the priority sectors.

Addressing guests at the forum, Patricia Ojangole, the Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Development Bank said the bank will contribute to industrialization and agriculture growth in the northern region and other areas of the country through loans to promote household income and wealth creation.

“As a business owner who wants to get financing from UDB, I encourage you to legalize your business by having all the necessary paperwork, including profiles of your Directors and URSB documentation,” Patricia Ojangole added.
