The 41st edition of the Uganda Cup final will be replayed tomorrow 16th June, 2015 between two eight time winners of the crown, SC Villa and KCCA FC at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The development follows Villa’s agreement to play full 90 minutes which they had earlier protested. The mutual consent between the two sides was reached upon yesterday during a meeting held at FUFA house in Mengo, Kampala.

It should be remembered that the final was earlier played in Ntungamo, Western Uganda, however the game was aborted following discontentedness among the crowds due to Robert Donney’s (match day referee) biased officiating.

“There were mistakes made but we have decided to have the game replayed in the spirit of fair play,” Villa president Eng. Ben Misagga told the Daily Monitor.

In attendance at the meeting were FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, Vice President Darius Mugoye and Competitions Director Ali Mwebe on the side of the federation.

Villa’s President Eng. Ben Misagga, Muhammad Bazirengedde, CEO Ivan Kakembo and Medi Nsereko Sebuliba honoured the meeting while Chairman Julius Kabugo, David Tamale and Peter Kibazo represented KCCA.
