Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic will field his team against Sudan on Saturday with a lot more confidence after thumping SC Villa 4-2 in a buildup match played at the African Bible University playground on Wednesday.
The game came a day after the same Cranes side lost 2-0 to Express fc at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Monday.
KCCA FC defender Timothy Awani put the Cranes forward before Vipers trio; Erias Ssekisambu, John Ssemazzi and Shafiq Bakaki netted while Ambrose Kirya and John Adriko came through with the only two consolations for the Jogoos to complete the 4-2 score.
Micho’s side continue with the drills today before summing it up with the last session on Friday as they prepare for Sudan in the first leg of the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier on Saturday at Nakivubo Stadium.
The Sudan team is already in the country having arrived yesterday (Wednesday 14th) and are residents at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.
