Uganda Cranes’ and ex-SC Villa skipper Chrizestom Ntambi is set for greener pastures as he has impressed the technical staff at Absa Premiership side Polokwane City during his ten-day-trial at the club, Kickoff.com reports. The Ugandan Fabregas like attacking midfielder previously played for Express before he headed to Vietnam.
Ntambi’s impressive spell has been exhibited in his past 10days’ training with Polokwane City of South Africa and reports have indicated that this spectacular display on the trials may earn him a contract. If he earns a deal like it’s greatly anticipated, he will be joining fellow nationals and competitors like striker Geoffrey Massa(Pretoria University), goalie Denis Masinde Onyango (Mamelodi Sundowns) and Ivan Bukenya (Kaizer Chiefs) all who ply their trade in the PSL.
According to our sources, Polokwane has also released names of its 10 new signings minus Ugandan Boban Zirintusa. The ex-Bunamwaya SC midfielder awhile ago posted on facebook timeline that he had joined the club from Zimbabwe’s Power Dynamos.
Polokwane’s new acquisitions are Linda Shiba (formerly with United FC in the First Division), Rendani Ndou(Black Leopards), along with amateur ranks singings Jabulani Dhladhla (Mbombela United), Tokelo Langa, Ribson Nqula, Lebohang Motumi (allWinners Park) and Rogget Nyundu(Apollo XI). Also brought in are established professionals Cole Alexander, Benson Mhlongo and Elias Ngwepe.
