Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has revealed that the national team will start official preparations for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations today with a gym session at Acaccia Mall.
“Official kickoff of Uganda Cranes preparations for AFCON Gabon 2017 on Monday 19th December at 10am in Paradise fitness city at Acaccia Mall,” coach Micho revealed in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.
The Cranes, however, started their preliminary preparations almost a month ago when they played three friendly ties with local clubs including The Saints FC, Bright Stars FC and Vipers SC.
As part of their AFCON preparations, Uganda will play more buildup matches with Slovakia and Ivory Coast in Abu Dhabi come January 8th and 11th 2017 respectively.
