News landing on our desks reveal how the national football team, the mighty Uganda Cranes is unhappy with the allowances they received right back from the GoTV CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup that was held in Kenya.

The team that came back to Uganda was awarded with UGX 500K for the entire team and averagely every individual member on the team pocketed 25K and they were supplemented with 10K for transport way back home from Namboole.

“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”

According to last year’s CECAFA challenge held in Uganda, the team was given $10,000 but they refused to take that money until they were called to be given $30,000. However, this time it has been totally different and more so disappointing. No Federation official could be reached for a comment about the players’ allowances.

The team will now prepare for CHAN championship that will be held in South Africa early next year.
