Having safely returned from Ghana, the Uganda cranes were subjected to a night training session yesterday that started at around 7:30pm. The Uganda cranes are in preparations for their next clash against West Africa’s Guinea.

“We have to train at the exact time of the match but all the players in camp have to prove their worth in today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuseday), to be guaranteed a slot in the team,” Head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic told FUFA website upon their arrival at Entebbe airport. The team was welcomed by the FUFA vice president Justus Mugisha and after went straight away to Sky Hotel in Naalya.

The 18-man squad that returned will join Geoffrey Masa, Brian Majwega among others who have been under the charges of Coach Video Anyau to continue with the preparations.

The Cranes return into play on Wednesday to face Group E table leaders Guinea who beat Togo last week on Friday by 2-1 to lead the group.
