Having put their fitness levels to a test yesterday as they thumped Ethiopia by 3-0 at Namboole stadium, the Uganda Cranes will begin their training today as they prepare to face off with the ‘Black Stars’ on the 15th of November 2014 in the AFCON qualifiers.
While Ethiopia will be off to Algeria to battle with the “Desert Foxes”, the Uganda Cranes will be at home at the Mandela National Stadium to clash with Ghana’s Black Stars fighting for a slot at the AFCON finals whose host is yet to be determined after Morocco pulled out.
The players in camp will be residing at Sky Hotel in Ntinda and are set to mark the start of their official training today evening at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
“There is no time to rest. We expect the Kenyan based professionals to be with us in training on Monday”, reads a statement on the federation’s website.
Meanwhile Togo will be at home to face off with bottom side Guinea. Uganda are is 3rd while Ghana still lead the Group E log.
The Uganda Cranes Players in camp are:
