As the Uganda cranes continue with preparations for their return league against Mauritania there are doubts arising from the financial point of the team whether things will go as earlier planned despite Emma Okwi having joined the team earlier today. The coaching staff has expressed their concerns as far as the preparations are concerned.
According to the cranes’ head to coach Micho, there are fears that the team may not be able to play any friendly as earlier suggested due to lack of enough funds that are required to make this possible. The coach has also said that there is need to finance the coming back of professional players who had departed back for their club duties.
He however further stressed that normal training will continue as planned at the new Njeru grounds where the Cranes traveled yesterday to proceed with their preparations.
Meanwhile, the Uganda Kobs have also continued to prepare for the return against our neighbors Rwanda who they beat 4-0 in the first leg. Their head coach Mathia Lule has advised his boys not to take their rivals for granted because their first league win is no guarantee that they have qualified for the next stage where they are likely to face Botswana or Zambia.
