A Uganda Cranes contingent of 18 players together with seven officials yesterday evening left the country for Zanzibar where they will take on Tanzania on Saturday in the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).
Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic named his 18-man squad a few hours before the team set off. “This is a strong team with a positive mind ready to put up a fight and win the game,” Micho said before the team set off.
The team left Entebbe international airport aboard Ethiopian Airlines on flight ET 501 and were due for a stopover in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa and thereafter connect to Zanzibar.
