Geoffrey Baba Kizito

Speculations were high towards the end of last year about Uganda Cranes star, Baba Kizito, prying his trade in Spain. Rumour had it that the versatile player was to go to Real Socieded, in La Liga, but it had remained like that; just a rumour.

However, latest we gather is that the star will join La Liga giants, Malaga on trial tomorrow. The deal was delayed because he had been denied a Visa to fly to Spain, which he later got after some people pulling strings for him.

Posting on his Facebook wall, Amos Wekesa, one of the people that helped the deal come to pass, confirmed the mega deal that will see Baba Kizito become the first Ugandan to play professional football in La Liga, Spain.
