The Uganda national football team, the Cranes has continued to gradually rise in world rankings as per the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) rankings that were released last week.
The Uganda Cranes rose by two places, advancing from the 76th place to 74th with 478points. Uganda however did not improve as per the African Continent rankings as it remained in 20th place on the log.
The development implies that the team has improved by three places in the last two months. They were ranked 77th in January, before rising to 76th in February and finally moving to 74th as of March 2015.
South Western neighbours of Rwanda, also improved by 8places as they moved from being 72nd in February to become 64th. This leaves the Amavubi Stars top in the CECAFA region table.
Tanzania and South Sudan also improved in their rankings as they moved from 107th to 100th and from 189th to 188th respectively. However Kenya dropped from 116 to 118th.
