Despite Uganda failing on numerous occasions to qualify for the World Cup, it is high time she supports a new game that enabled the Pearl of Africa steal the international limelight.
During the Thursday opening night of the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships happening in Denver over the next nine days, one of the highlights was the entrance of the Uganda lacrosse team into the stadium.
Who could believe that the country of Uganda would be one of the 38 teams competing from around the world and the only representative from Africa?
Their enthusiasm was electric when they entered the field and brought a roar of support from teams and fans alike.
