The nominees in the inaugural UG deejay awards dubbed “UG Mix Maestro” have been announced.
They were announced at a ceremony held at Fame Lounge on Wednesday evening where the nominees each received a certificate of nomination.
The nominees are split into five categories namely: TV DJ, Radio DJ, Events DJ, Nightlife DJ and Gospel DJ.
Following the nominees release party, the award orgainsers will now go on a national tour holding battle DJ Competitions in different regions where all DJs across the country will participate and compete for the BEST Male & Female Battle Dj of the year 2017.
The best deejay will be crowned at awards gala night which will be held on Friday, October 6 at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala
