Uganda Breweries Finance & Strategy Director Busola Doregos is the 2019 Chief Finance Officer of the year.
It was a double win for Doregos who also won the Finance Transformation award.
This was at the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) awards, now in their 3rd year, held at the Kampala Serena Hotel under the theme ““Ethics and Trust, as the Competitive Advantage for Business Sustainability.”
Organized by ACCA Uganda and Deloitte Uganda, the awards are aimed at recognizing outstanding finance professionals and the role they play in developing good business & finance practices both within the companies they operate, and the finance sector in general.
Doregos is the first lady to win the Uganda CFO of the Year award since the awards were introduced in 2017.
She is a seasoned Finance professional and an ACCA fellow with over 15 years of experience in FMCG organizations
Doregos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and an MBA in Finance from Kent Business School.
She is highly skilled in Strategic Business Planning, Business Setup, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Process Simplification and Re-engineering, Productivity, Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
