Next Media and Talent Africa have come together to bring to Uganda a probably biggest concert of the year 2023. Dubbed “The Next Big Thing”, Ali Campbell will reunite with his former music band UB40 and camp in Uganda on the 21st of December at Kololo airstrip.

The dates coincide with the NBS At 15 celebrations and serves as a spectacular way to wrap up the year.
This groundbreaking initiative is designed to celebrate, explore, love, and inspire hope throughout Uganda. “The Next Big Thing” carefully resonates with the nation, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Ugandan celebration and providing a unique opportunity to witness how Uganda unites in joy and festivity.
According to Joe Kigozi, the Next Media Deputy Group CEO, this celebration will mark a triumphant end to 2023, harmoniously aligning with the overarching theme of “NBS At 15.” It promises to be a remarkable showcase of Uganda’s celebratory spirit, highlighting the diverse cultural richness and unity that define the nation.
Aly Allibhai, Talent Africa Group CEO, said, “We’re looking forward to being part of this big project. It’s a monumental partnership and undoubtedly the biggest event of the year. To see our partnership, culminate in something of this magnitude is truly awe-inspiring.”
UB40 was in Uganda in 2008 courtesy of MTN and attracted over 30,000 revellers which is apparently the largest crowd ever at the venue.
