Uganda is buzzing with the news of the talent Africa’s C.EO, Aly Alibhai’s recent visit to India for a meeting with the legendary UB40 featuring Ali Campbell Band in India. The talent Africa Group C.E.O is on a mission – to ensure that every doubting Thomas in Uganda knows that this concert is the real deal, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness music history in the making and that nobody can stop reggae.

But hold your breath, skeptics; this isn’t just a dream – it is happening! On the 2nd of March 2024, the Kololo Independence grounds will be alive with the rhythm of Reggae, together with sounds from the finest of Uganda’s top artists like Bebe-Cool, and Vinka, among others.

The talent Africa CEO and legendary promoter met Aly Campbell with the entire band in the backstage area where the team was tuning their instruments and rehearsing their timeless hits ahead of their show in India on Saturday.

The legendary musicians who were clearly in high spirits and have previously sold out shows across the world in countries like New Zealand, Hawaii, Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, UK among others confirmed that they would check into Uganda 3 days before the show, to prepare. The sold-out show in India on Saturday is a true testament to the legend of the band, and its commitment to delivering outstanding performances.

With a mischievous grin, Ali Campbell in his own words said, “It’s been a long time coming. We can’t wait to come to Kampala and create magic”
