Businessman Emmanuel Lwasa and his wife, Angel Birungi, have rekindled their relationship nearly a year after their breakup.
The couple, who made their relationship official in 2021, has faced a series of challenges since then, leading to instability in their marriage.
Angel Birungi opened up about their reconciliation, noting that her parents’ frequent breakups and reunions had shaped her perspective on relationships.
“I grew up seeing my mother and father break up and reunite repeatedly. So, that’s not news to me. My man has never annoyed me. It’s something else that bothered me but not him,” she said during her interview on Sanyuka TV.
Their reunion comes shortly after a significant improvement in Lwasa’s financial situation.
Earlier this year, Lwasa had publicly disclosed his financial struggles, including the seizure of some of his property by the bank in Masaka.
Recent developments have lifted him from the reported state of bankruptcy, marking a positive turn in his fortunes.
