Karim Hirji

City tycoon Karim Hirji has been dragged to court by his step children – Ronald, Linda and Anita Birungi – who accuse him of illegally taking over their deceased mother’s property.

The children to the late Ziba Nanyonga Hirji sued their step father Karim on grounds that he forged a will to indicate that he was one of the beneficiaries of the deceased’s property.

The property in question includes several investments in the United Kingdom where the late breathed her last in 2004 as well others in Kampala and Wakiso, including foreign bank accounts.

Court has given the tycoon an ultimatum of fifteen days to file his defence before being charged.

We will keep you posted.
